John Esin
Founder & CEO

As leaders we strive to inspire and empower others through our innovative games and educational resources. We believe that learning should be accessible, engaging, and enjoyable for all.



Jesin Games was founded in 2024 by John Esin, a life-long gaming enthusiast who has made significant contributions in creating fun, educational and engaging games for all ages, gender, and ethnicity. John is the architect behind the blueprint for Jesin Games success story. He is a graduate of MIT and Cornell University. And also a practicing board certified Emergency Medicine Physician.

Adesoji Adelaja, Ph.D.
Advisor on the Board

Professor Adesoji Adelaja is the John A. Hannah Distinguished Professor in Land Policy at Michigan State University (MSU) and a globally respected scholar in agricultural policy, land use, economic development, renewable energy, and conflict management. He is also Chairman of Chapel Hill Advisory Partners, Chapel Hill Denham Management, and Student Accomod8.

At MSU, he founded and directed the Land Policy Institute and has received numerous awards for excellence in research, outreach, and public policy. On national assignment in Nigeria, he served as Special Adviser on Economic Intelligence to the Presidency, led the Presidential Initiative for the Northeast (PINE), and co-designed the Presidential Committee for the Northeast Initiative (PCNI), developing strategies for resettlement and economic revitalization in conflict-affected regions.

A dual U.S. and Nigerian citizen, Professor Adelaja has advised multiple U.S. governors, international organizations, and African development bodies, including the African Union, African Development Bank, and USAID. His leadership continues to shape global strategies on inclusive growth, sustainable development, and food security.

Olufemi Vaughan, Ph.D.
Advisor on the Board

Olufemi Vaughan is the Alfred Sargent Lee ’41 & Mary Ames Lee Professor and Chair of Black Studies at Amherst College. He earned his doctorate in Politics from Oxford University and is an accomplished scholar in African and African diaspora studies, spanning politics, history, sociology, religion, and cultural studies.

He is the author and editor of numerous influential books, including Letters, Kinship, and Social Mobility in Nigeria (2023) and Religion and the Making of Nigeria (2016). His work has earned him prestigious fellowships such as the Guggenheim and Wilson awards.

Before joining Amherst, Professor Vaughan held leadership and faculty positions at Stony Brook University and Bowdoin College.

E. Juliet Mallet Phillip, MBA
Advisor on the Board

Mrs. Elaine Juliet Mallet Phillip is an accomplished international civil servant with over three decades of experience in diplomacy, multilateralism, and development. Her career began with the Saint Lucia Foreign Service (1987–1998), where she served across divisions including Protocol, Political and Economic Affairs, OECS and CARICOM Affairs, and International Trade. She also represented Saint Lucia at its Embassy in Washington, D.C., engaging with the U.S. Congress and the Organization of American States (OAS) on critical national and regional issues.

She later advanced her career with the Organization of American States, serving as Director of the OAS Country Offices in The Bahamas and Belize, and as Coordinator of OAS Scholarship and Training Programs, where she expanded educational opportunities across 34 member states. Her leadership also extended to consulting roles with the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) and the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD), where she developed national anti-drug plans across the Caribbean.

From 2017 to 2022, Mrs. Mallet Phillip served as Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Saint Lucia in Washington, D.C., advancing the country’s national interests. Most recently, she contributed to the OAS Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) Project, empowering women entrepreneurs across the Eastern Caribbean.

Beyond her diplomatic career, she co-founded Love Thy Neighbor (LTN), providing meals for the underserved, and serves as Vice President of the Driven Foundation Inc., which supports youth in Saint Lucia through sports, skills development, and mental wellness initiatives.

She holds a BA in Political Science (University of Western Ontario), a Postgraduate Diploma in International Relations (University of the West Indies), and an MBA (University of Miami). Fluent in English, she also has working knowledge of Spanish and French.

Advisor on the Board

Nahid Karim is a visionary healthcare executive and financial strategist with extensive experience leading organizations through transformative change. As Co-founder and Vice President of Med Repair Technology, Nahid has built the company into a leading biomedical equipment service provider in the tri-state area, driving innovation, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Previously, as Senior Director at Crothall Healthcare, Nahid advanced patient care and operational performance through strategic planning and project management. With deep expertise in financial stewardship, risk management, and mergers and acquisitions, Nahid is recognized for guiding organizations through complex healthcare challenges.

Fluent in multiple languages, Nahid brings a unique cultural perspective to building healthcare partnerships. He hold a Master of Health Administration from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Philosophy from Harvard University.
